Carolyn Kirby
CAROLYN KIRBY is an award-winning historical novelist. Her debut The Conviction
of Cora Burns was listed for prizes from the Historical Writers’ Association and the
Crimefest/Specsavers Crime Fiction Award. When We Fall was chosen by the Times
and Sunday Times as one of the Best Novels of the Year and has been translated
into Polish.
Born in Sunderland, Carolyn studied history at St Hilda’s College, Oxford and she
now helps run Hilda’s Crime Fiction Weekend, a world-renowned literary festival held
every year in the college.
Her novel Ravenglass will be published by Northodox Press in autumn 2025.
